Ambient Music on Vintage Electronic Keyboards London-born, long-time Tokyo resident Morgan Fisher improvises music on a variety of vintage electronic keyboards.
His music is a highly individual blend of ambient/world/minimal music with a refined and contemplative quality. His influences range from Miles Davis to Terry Riley, Erik Satie, Nino Rota, The Penguin Cafe Orchestra, Harold Budd, and Augustus Pablo.
While his current musical interest is individualistic, he has had a prolific career. Artists he has played keyboards with include The Love Affair, Mott the Hoople, Yoko Ono, and Queen. Constantly involved in creative projects as player, composer, arranger and producer, he is one of the leading TV commercial music writers in Japan, with his work featured in spots for Nissan, Sony, Shiseido, and others.
