Once again, the Club is pleased to welcome Myoko Shuzo, which has been brewing great sake in Niigata for close to 200 years.  In fact, they celebrate their 200 year anniversary next year. Their secret to brewing a great sake is the high quality soft water found only at Mount Myoko combined with Niigata rice. 

This special event will feature sake tasting and sales of their sake. There will also be sales of limited edition sake that will have labels drawn by a calligrapher at the event. Join us for this fun evening, and find out for yourself why they have won gold medals from both the US and the UK for their sake!
We accept only cash payment for sake sales.

Tickets are 2,500 yen per person.

「妙高酒造」の創業は約200年前の文化12年(1815年)。地元の酒造好適米、越後富士とも言われる標高2,454mの秀峰「妙高山」系の伏流水、自社活性培養酵母を用い、『全日本技能士連合 酒造マイスター』と『にいがたの名工』のダブル認定を日本で初めて受けた杜氏「平田正行」指揮のもと、普通酒、本醸造であっても、吟醸並みの麹づくりをするなど丁寧な酒造りを行っています。
