Singer, songwriter and Shinto priestess Suzue brings spiritual influences and concerns for nature and world peace to a contemporary popular music style.
A long-time Press Club favorite, Suzue spent most of 2007 in New York City, where she performed at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall and other venues.
Providing an even more unusual twist, on this trip to the club, Suzue will be accompanied by Shinichiro Suzuki on koto.
It's a rare treat to get someone to come from Carnegie Hall to our Main Bar. So get contemplative and relax at this week's Saturday Night Live.
And, as always, it's FREE. Just pay for your food and drink and you can enjoy some of the best live music heard west of the Sumida River.
