With inspiration from Japanese Ukiyoe, David Bintley revives a fantasy grand ballet created by John Cranko with Benjamin Britten's music. In this adventurous story, the heroin Princess Belle Sakura sets out on a journey to save her father, and meets her long-lost older brother in the far-off Pagoda Land. New National Theater's top duo, Ayako Ono and Yudai Fukuoka play the role of Princess and her missing Prince.
Tickets including special lunch with a glass of sparkling wine at the Maestro Restaurant on the 3rd floor of the New National Theater cost 15,600 per person. Only 20 seats are tentatively booked. Please reserve online or call the front desk (03)3211-3161 ASAP. In order to avoid the increase of consumption tax, FCCJ must pay for tickets by March 31. Cancellation after 6 p.m., March 25 will be charged in full.
