Akiko Naka, CEO of Wantedly

Language: The speech and Q & A will be in English.

Akiko Naka might be somebody Prime Minister Shinzo Abe needs to push his womenomics and innovation-oriented economic policy to drive Japan's staggering GDP. She is the CEO of Wantedly, a recruiting and social networking platform that helps match Japan's burgeoning tech startups with young talents.

In 2010 this female entrepreneur launched Wantedly, a Japanese version of LinkedIn, and groomed it into one of Japan's biggest social networking businesses.

The Japanese company Recruit has dominated Japan's recruiting industry for decades. But Wantedly lowers the hurdle for younger, tech job seekers who want to approach the company in a more casual way in a country where formality is valued even in job hunting.

The recruiting SNS that might change Japan's job-hunting market was born out of Naka's stellar background as a risk-taking go-getter.

After graduating from Kyoto University in 2008, she joined Goldman Sachs, but left in less than two years to pursue her passion to be a manga artist. When her career as a cartoonist stalled, she joined Facebook Japan at a time when the world's biggest social networking service was still unknown in Japan.

Naka will talk about her vision for the company, including the possibility of an initial public offering.
