The FCCJ "Hacks & Flacks" New Year Party

The FCCJ "Hacks & Flacks" New Year Party
FCCJ PAC新年賀詞交歓会

19:00 - 21:00 Friday, January 25, 2019
*Doors Open: 18:30

The FCCJ's "Hacks & Flacks" New Year Party is the best annual professional networking opportunity in Japan for journalists and communications professionals, always an opportunity to meet, chat and chart the year ahead. This year, however, we are planning something even more special.

With 2018 a major year of changed for the Club and Japan, as the countdown to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games begins, we intend to make this year's event the best ever, and are making extra efforts to boost journalist attendance and the value of the evening for all attendees. And we would like to show all of you the new FCCJ home at Marunouchi Nijubashi Building.

The event will begin with greetings from Rep. Mitsuko Ishii, offering politics in Japan and Olympic insights and eyes on preparations for 2020.

Along with Rep. Ishii, the Club is welcoming public relations representatives from top companies, government agencies and embassies, as well as journalists from across the media spectrum in an unparalleled networking night.

All FCCJ members and guests are welcome to attend. The Club will put on a special buffet and a selection of drinks for just 4,000 yen per person for Professional Associate and Associate members and 1,500 yen per person for Regular Members and accredited foreign correspondents.

We expect capacity attendance, so to help us plan properly. Please reserve in advance, 03-3211-3161.

Cancellations will be accepted up to 24 hours prior to the event for Professional Associate members, Associate members and guests, and one hour prior for working press members (by telephone only on the day of the event). Reservations are not complete without confirmation and cannot be made by replying to this email.

Be sure to join us for one of the most important events on the FCCJ calendar!
