The 2015 Rugby World Cup hits the ground running - with a trophy tour kicking off in Japan, hosts of the 2019 event.

Debbie Jevans
CEO of England Rugby 2015
Language: The speech and Q&A will be in English

As the football World Cup in Brazil limps toward an uncertain start, the next global sporting event, the 2015 Rugby World Cup, hits the ground running - with a trophy tour kicking off in Japan, hosts of the 2019 event.

The famous Webb Ellis Cup will then visit the nations that have qualified for 2015, as well as touring developing rugby nations.

Organisers say that the globe-trotting trophy tour, a hospitality program including "packs" of volunteers and some big-name broadcasting deals gives them to confidence that next September's event will be the most successful yet from both a commercial and sporting point of view.

Jevans, a former tennis professional, was one of the architects of the London 2012 Olympics and has been named by the Guardian newspaper as one of the most influential women in the United Kingdom. The 2015 games will be played in both England and Wales.

Come and see the Web Ellis trophy for yourselves, and hear from Jevans about what Japan has to look forward to as it gears up for 2019.

Please reserve in advance, 3211-3161 or on the website (still & TV cameras inclusive). Reservations and cancellations are not complete without confirmation.
