Description:

It is holiday gift-giving season, and your Food & Beverage Committee and Wine Sub-Committee are bringing the Golden Wines of California to FCCJ members and their guests (maximum 5 guests per member) in December. “Big Gun” Cabs such as a 2003 Silver Oak (Alexander Valley) and a 2005 Montelena (Napa) will be flowing freely, along with deep Syrahs, Zins, Merlots, Pinots, Chards and Sparklings from regions including Carneros, Dry Creek, Sonoma, and Monterey. Prepare yourself to taste an assortment of 26 of the finest Californian selections, thanks to our good friend Bill Campbell with Hotei wines.

Members and their guests with tickets will have a chance to savor all offerings, along with generous samplings of cheeses and sumptuous passed appetizers. Those interested in purchasing wine and/or food selections will be granted approximately 30% below-market prices and be required to ship directly from our venue. Wine selection and pricing information is available in advance of the event via our Reception desk, and, of course, at the event itself.

In presenting The Golden Wines of California in December, we are offering two separate tasting and sales periods during the same evening. The first starts at 6:00pm and finishes at 7:20pm. The second will start at 7:40pm and finish at 9:00pm. Both sessions are on a first come, first served basis and limited to a maximum of 100 attendees. Once booked, reservations are not transferable from one session to another, unless space is available. The affair will be held in its entirety on December 11th, not split into two evenings. Please note that the Pen & Quill will be open in the Dining Room West, as usual. Tickets are priced at JPY2,300.

Attendance is limited to 100 persons per session on a first come, first served basis.

Reservations at the Reception Desk, please, at 3211-3161, or online at http://www.fccj.or.jp.

Please note it is impossible to make a reservation by replying to an FCCJ notice. When reserving by email, or through the FCCJ website, your reservation is not complete without confirmation. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged in full.
