The Club is connecting with Sapporo Breweries Ltd. and Miyako Boeki to make available many outstanding wines from the New World. Twenty-Five various selections from Chile, Argentina, California, and South Africa will be available to members and their guests (maximum 6 guests per member until June 15th, no guest limit afterwards, based upon availability). Among many others, prepare to enjoy Chilean Santa Rita Casa Real Cabernet Sauvignon and Reserva Chardonnay, Argentine La Agricola Vida Organica Sparkling Chardonnay and Cabernets, California’s Beringer Private Reserve Chardonnay, Merlot, and Pinot Noir, and South African Nederberg auction-sourced Distell Private Bin D234 Sauvignon Blanc 2003 (Double Gold medal winner), Distell Private Bin R172 Pinotage 1999, and Distell Le Bonheur Prima 1995.
Members and their guests will have a chance to savor all offerings, along with generous samplings of cheeses, prosciutto, and a plentiful assortment of appetizers. Those interested in purchasing wine and/or food selections direct from vendors may do so, as usual, at significantly below-market prices. We are offering two separate tasting and sales periods during the same evening. The first starts at 6:00 pm and finishes promptly at 7:20 pm. The second will start at 7:40 pm and finish at 9:00 pm. Both sessions are on a first come, first served basis and limited to a maximum of 100 attendees per session. Reservation times are not transferable unless space is available. Please note that the Pen & Quill will be open for dinner service in our Dining Room West, and reservations are recommended. Tickets are priced at 2,300 yen.
Attendance is limited to 100 per session. Reservations can be made at 03-3211-3161, or online at http://www.fccj.or.jp. Please note that replying to an FCCJ notice doesn’t confirm registration. When reserving by email, or through the FCCJ website, your reservation requires confirmation directly from the Club. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged in full.
