President's Roundtable:
Journalists from the Middle & Near East

To All Working Press Members:

As part of my duties to raise the profile of the Club globally, I am hosting a group of young journalists from the Middle and Near East (Afghanistan, Yemen, Iraq, Egypt, and Palestine) for roundtable discussions. The two groups are taking part in a training scheme hosted by the Foreign Press Center and will take part in a number of activities, including visiting Hiroshima.

The roundtable is an opportunity to meet and exchange views between these two groups and our Tokyo-based correspondents, to impart what our perceptions are and how we cover Japan. It will also be an opportunity for these young visitors to test the knowledge and information gained through two weeks of training.
