Paul Fleisher and The Tokyo Jazz Essentials

"Cool, smooth and blue"-that's how sax/flute player Paul Fleisher likes
to describe his brand of jazz. A native New Yorker now based in Osaka,
Fleisher has performed for Broadway shows such as "Jesus Christ
Superstar," and toured and recorded with the likes of John Mayall, the
Doobie Brothers, Lou Reed, David Bromberg and Steeplechase. On this
trip to the club he'll be joined by Koji Yamashtia on bass and Yutaka
Shiina playing piano.

Leading jazz publications such as Swing Journal have complimented
Fleisher for his "warm, rich sound." Fleisher's mellow sax stylings are
the perfect antidote for the mid-winter blues, so be sure to head down
to the Club this Saturday evening for some truly fine jazz.
