Description:

Next year is the memorial year for Japanese and Austrian skiers to
celebrate the 100-year anniversary of introduction of modern ski from
Austria. On this special occasion, Mr. Susumu Sugiyama, Japan's top
skier of the 1956 Olympics and president of Sugiyama Ski School, will
coach FCCJers and offer a special lecture on the history of skiing in
Japan in the memorial hall.

Okushigakogen is a well known ski resort among foreigners including
Chinese, Austrians and other Europeans. He also welcomes those who want
to stay from Friday, March 5.

Fee: Shinkansen return, Tokyo-Nagano: 15,940 yen
Bus return, Nagano-Okushigakogen: 3,800 yen
Hotel Saturday night (shared twin room) including dinner: 13,720 yen
Estimated total transportation & hotel fee: 33,460 yen

Ski-lift day pass: 4,800 yen, rental skis & boots: 3,000 yen (one day)
(Skis & boots reservation required in advance for size preparation.)
