New Traffic Control System "AISS '09"

Visit A Brand-New Traffic Control Room

Traffic control systems and disaster prevention systems have been replaced prior to the opening of the Central Circular Route Yamate tunnel (Route No.3 ~ Route No.4). The work has now reached the final stage and in the lead up to the opening the new traffic control system will be opened to the press. The name of the new traffic control system is "AISS '09" (Advanced & Integrated Smartway System).

The traffic control room integrates a large-sized projector system with flexible and usable images that coordinate with the operator's console. These factors will contribute to the effective management of traffic control and operations.
