Description:

When company presidents retire in Japan, they usually do it so smoothly that no-one notices. This has not been the case with Kuniaki Nozoe, the former president of the electronics giant Fujitsu. He claims that he was forced out of Fujitsu after allegations of links to a company with ties to "yakuza" organized crime.

Since his departure from Fujitsu, Mr. Nozoe has been taking his former employer head-on and has asked for his job back. He says his departure was more about proposed tough cuts in Fujitsu's operations and denies links to organized crime groups.

On May 12, Kuniaki Nozoe will be at the FCCJ to speak about the case. Come and hear his side about one of the most sensational scandals to hit corporate Japan in years.
