Steve Gardner is the original Saturday Live performer, going back to even before we called it Saturday Night Live. Steve, who hails from southern Mississippi, is unquestionably Tokyo's most accomplished blues guitarist -- and without doubt the most popular FCCJ SNL performer. He mixes his own interpretation of blues numbers -- both well-known and obscure -- with an increasing repertoire of original tunes. Steve has four CDs out and recorded a fifth last summer. It hasn't been released yet, but we are likely to hear some tunes from the new CD.
