The Entertainment Committee brings you an exciting evening with Machiko Miura, a songstress who blends the worlds of jazz, chanson and more. She will perform with New York-based jazz pianist Kayo Hiraki and her trio.

A professional tenor opera-singer once remarked, "Ms. Miura has a world-class voice." Another noted producer said, "Japanese voices normally don't fit for jazz but her　jazz voice is exceptional. She creates her own world of　music." She gives periodical concerts, sings at live houses and performs dinner shows at major hotels in Tokyo. This is her fourth dinner show at FCCJ .

Ms Kayo Hiraki is a talented jazz pianist who received the highest praise from the legendary jazz bassist Ron Carter. She is Ms Miura's music director. Please come and enjoy world-class live music, created by Machiko Miura and Kayo Hiraki.

2012年春・祭MACHIKO MIURAディナーショー

芽吹く弥生3月21日(水)、ジャズとシャンソンの世界を歌う、旬の歌手みうらまちことＮＹ拠点のジャズピアニスト平木かよトリオを迎えて「2012春・祭MACHIKO MIURAディナーショー」を催します。

みうらまちこさんは、「間違いなく世界的な声」と評価を受け、「銀巴里」でライブデビュー。以来MANDALAを初め有名ライブハウス、ホテルディナーショー･･･と活動範囲を広げ、最近は著名プロデューサーや作曲家から「世界観に満ち、声の魅力、ムードステージング等素晴らしい」と賛辞を得ています。今回のプログラムは、みうらまちこさんの幅広いレパートリーからスタンダードジャズ、シャンソン、日本の歌を、彼女の音楽監督でもあるジャズピアニスト平木かよさんのトリオで歌います。この機会にMACHIKO Worldをぜひご堪能ください！ 当クラブでは４回目のディナーショーとなります。
