Ise Grand Shrine 1300 Years
An Evening of Culture & Special Cuisine

For 1300 years the Ise Grand Shrines have been holding a solemn ritual every 20 years for renewal of their main buildings. The 62nd Jingu Shikinen Sengu will be performed in 2013.

As a preview and to facilitate a better understanding of the origin of "Japanese Spriit' the Ise Grand Shrines, Ise City & Ise City Tourist Association and the Entertainment Committee are happy to present a short presentation by Ise Shrines officials on the basic background of Ise, Jingu & Shinto.

We will also be entertained with the attractions and special tourism spots of Ise.
Local specialties including Ise beef and lobster and abalone dishes will be served and the famed ji-Sake and craft beer of the area will be served 'nomi hodai'.

Tickets are Y4200 including tax with buffet dinner and free drinks.

『伊勢』の夕べ

２０年に一度の大祭である「第６２回神宮式年遷宮」が来年（平成２５年）に迫ってまいりました。
「神宮式年遷宮」とは、２０年に一度社殿をはじめ御神宝等を一新し、神様にお移りいただくという儀式です。世界のどの聖地にも類を見ないものであり、１３００年もの間継続しています。

２０００年の長きにわたり、神宮に寄り添ってきた「伊勢」には「日本とは何か」「日本人とは何か」という問いに対しての答えのヒントが多々ちりばめられています。

この度は会員の皆様に、日本の原点としての「伊勢」について理解を深めていただくとともに、世界へ向け、日本のふるさと伊勢を発信していただけるよう、講演会及び交流会を開催いたします。
