Probably the most popular western musical in the world, "My Fair Lady" will return to the stage in Tokyo next April in a stunning new production-and your Special Project Committee has managed to obtain a block of seats for FCCJ members for April 12, 2009.
Based on George Bernard Shaw's play "Pygmalion", the fabled duo of Lerner and Loewe in 1956 created the Broadway hit musical "My Fair Lady" which in turn lead to the classic George Cukor-directed film adaptation in 1964 featuring Audrey Hepburn as the low class London flower seller Eliza Doolittle, and Rex Harrison as the misogynistic and snobbish phonetics professor, Henry Higgins,

In the 2009 Tokyo production, Mao Daichi, Japan's top musical star, will perform the role of Eliza and her partner, Kazutaka Ishii, will take on the role of Professor Higgins.
Advance ticket sales start in January, but good seats for weekend matinees are already taken by special corporate clients. Your Special Project Committee has made an extra effort to book a top block of 60 seats on April 12.
Tickets per person for S seats normally cost 12,500 yen. However, Press Club members may purchase S seats for a discount of 11,500 yen per person. Phone the front desk (3211-3161) or reserve on line as soon as possible.
Reservations are limited to two tickets per member and our first come first served policy will be strictly observed. Reservations cancelled after 6 p.m., Friday, December 19 will be charged in full.

あの人気ミュージカルが大地真央のエライザと石井一孝のヒギンス教授でお待ちかねの東京再演。前売り開始は来年１月からですが、すでに週末マチネ公演のよい席は大口顧客が抑えています。特別企画委員会は通常￥１２，５００のＳ席を￥１１，５００の特別価格で６０枚確保しました。お申し込みは先着順で会員一名につき二枚限り。１２月１９日午後６時以降のキャンセルはフル・チャージとなります。
