Sextett Wien was formed in 2005, putting together some young members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra intending to develop the chamber music esteeming it highly. They specialize in playing unperformed works of prominent composers who had great impacts on the history of Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
The concerts held domestically in Austria have received great reputations, and critics also praise them to the skies.
