Description:

Following North Korea's launch of a rocket or missile Saturday, international pressure for sanctions on Pyongyang is growing. Foreign Minister Nakasone will update FCCJ journalists on Japanese action against North Korea as well as Tokyo's push for a UN Security Council decision condemning the launch.

The Foreign Minister has agreed to speak for 10 minutes, with consecutive interpretation, and will take questions afterwards.
