The FCCJ presents 'Sabae City Night'.
Sabae City is located in the inter part of Fukui Prefecture, and is famous as the top producer of eyeglass frames in Japan dominating 90% of the domestic production, and also dominates 90% of the domestic production of industrial lacquer ware. 'Sabae City Night' is full of enjoyable ideas such as 'Eyeglass Show', 'Lacquer-work live performance', 'Soba Making' and so on.

The Executive Chef of Sabae City Hotel, who represented Japan in the Culinary Olympics held in Berlin and got a prize, provides course meals using the local food material. The main dish is Roasted Wakasa Beef.

* Fukui's Tsuruga free range chicken consomme with local grown vegetables,"Heshiko" sauce (anchovies & garlic)
* Special in-house prepared ham from Fukui raised pork with vanilla flavored onion mouse
* Local seafood, sea bream, turban top shell, ivory shell and seaweed consomme

* Fukui's Awara "Tomitsukintoki" sweet potato paste and zucchini gratin
* Fukui's signature "Koshinorubi" tomatoes comport and basil ice cream

The famous sake,'BORN' and plum juice, which are served in JAL international flights, are also ready. Active participation is required.
