Description:

On Aug. 7, 1974, renowned French tightrope walker Philippe Petit spent 45 minutes walking, dancing, jumping and lying down on a 43-meter cable strung between the twin towers of the World Trade Center at a height of 412 meters. For those who witnessed the illegal caper, and those who helped Petit plan and carry it out, it was a transformative experience. The 2008 Oscar winner for Best Documentary takes us behind "the artistic crime of the century," delivering an enthralling thriller.
