Kick back to the sweet sounds of Texas Blues & Boogie, 'backporch' style.

J.J. Vicars returns to FCCJ August 8th to put some grease in the frying pan. One man and a guitar, lowdown Blues smoking like BBQ.

Downhome Blues is the name of the game and this is as downhome as it gets. Texas guitar boogie-like only one weaned in the swamps on a steady diet of Lightnin'Hopkins and John Lee Hooker can deliver it. FCCJ turns into a Saturday night fish-fry, sweet tea the recommended beverage of choice.

Spike it with a little 'punch'to get in the mood. Songs from all four albums (SCI-FI DINER, HI-TECH HILLBILLY, HEARTLAND and LONGHAIRED LEFTOVERS plus the upcoming LONG WAY FROM HOME) are rendered 'backporch boogie'style and the gumbo is seasoned to taste with Southern-style Americana. You can't get this nowhere else!
