For Champagne Lovers Only

Time: 2009 Oct 05 18:30 - 21:30
Description:

Mark October 5 as a night to remember for champagne lovers: Mr. Olivier Dupre will bring a celebrated collection of champagnes from Alfred Gratien to grace a memorable dinner presented by our executive chef, Paul Dodd.

Established in 1864, Alfred Gratien today can be enjoyed in the world's best hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants. Illustrious histories and wine making traditions are common hallmarks of the great champagne houses. Alfred Gratien stands out amongst them as one of the last "hand-crafted" champagnes made in traditional oak casks which give their bubbles an incomparably intimate aroma and finish.

Selected from the finest cuvee of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, all cuvees are aged at least three years in bottles pre-disgorgement, then carefully aged some more before shipment. Alfred Gratien has kept production to only 250,000 bottles per year, reflecting their commitment to the highest production principles of the founder.

Ranging from the excellent blanc de blancs to the signature Cuvee Paradis Brut, Executive Chef Paul Dodd will match each round with exquisite tastes and textures to celebrate and enhance every sip. (The menu and wine list will be available shortly.)
