An Evening of South Africa Wines
Description:Come celebrate South Africa's 350 year history of winemaking with some of the nation's best wines being assembled exclusively for the FCCJ on November 4.
With the support of the South African Embassy and Miyako Boeki, 6 wine importers will be pouring the pride of South African wineries, including:
Villiera Estate Tradition Brut NV, 2,130 yen
Kumala Chardonnay-Semillon 2007, 770 yen
Nederburg Auction Private Bin D 270 Chardonnay 2004, 3,590 yen
Vilafonte Series C (Cabernet Sauvignon etc.) 2005, 8,200 yen
Boschendal Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2003, 2,280 yen
Simonsig Pinotage 2005, 1,900 yen
Accompanying them will be a delicious array of cheeses, prosciutto, and Chef Dodd's delectable appetizers. Wines and foods can be purchased directly from vendors on the evening at special FCCJ discounts. A price list will be available in advance at the club's Reception.
We are offering two separate tasting and sales periods during the same evening. The first starts at 6:00 pm and finishes promptly at 7:20 pm. The second will start at 7:40 pm and finish at 9:00 pm. Both sessions are on a first come, first served basis and limited to a maximum of 100 attendees per session. Reservation times are not transferable unless space is available. Please note that the Pen & Quill will be open for dinner service in our Dining Room West, and reservations are recommended. Tickets are priced at 2,300 yen.
Attendance is limited to 100 per session (maximum 6 guests per member until October 25th, no guest limit afterwards, based upon availability).
