Founded in Hiroshima in 2006 by Hirofumi Kamigaki, IC4DESIGN Inc. is a creative studio comprised of four artists who create intricate detailed illustrations catering to clients' needs.
Having won awards including three gold prizes at the Dubai Lynx, Cannes Lions Bronze in 2017, and ADC 89 Silver, IC4DESIGN’s eye-catching, pop images have gained international recognition for their vibrant use of color and uniqueness in fields from product packaging, advertising to book covers.
In 2009, they began supplying cover illustrations for the New York Times Magazine. The group won the Cannes Lions 2017 Bronze Award for their campaign poster for the United Nations organisation UNWomen, and has also worked on the cover illustrations for the New York Times Magazine and the 90TH OSCARS for the Los Angeles Times Magazine, for which they received high praise.The Maze Detective Pierre series has been translated into more than 30 languages and published in over 33 countries, and adapted into Nintendo games.
The artists hope that as many children and school students as possible can see this exhibition and gain inspiration from the pop images.
