Language: The speech and Q & A will be in Japanese with English interpretation.

Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike has long said she graduated from Cairo University in 1976, but claims have surfaced recently that she has faked her academic credentials. This would violate Japan's Public Offices Election Law and the penal code. Koike has denied the allegations, and when running for office in 2016 showed what she claims to be a certificate on a TV show.

Novelist Ryo Kuroki and Nobuo Gohara, a lawyer and former prosecutor, have been investigating the issue, and will speak at the FCCJ about their findings.
