Description:

Tokyo Youth is a collection of works by the five photographers of the SHA-DO collective.

The subjects presented are "Night clubbing," "Omotesando shoppers," "Takashimadaira apartment complex kids," "Bushinavi Netwarriors," and "Otaku".

The Sha-do Collective gets its name from the English "shadow" and the Japanese "sha-dô" ("the way of photography"). It was formed in 2007 by five Tokyo-based photographers with many years experience working for international magazines and newspapers. Their work, from documentary to fine-art, focuses mainly on Japan and Asia.

Sha-do are: Yasuhiro Ogawa, Noriyuki Aida, Androniki Christodoulou, David Coll Blanco and Eric Rechsteiner.

Tokyo Youth is the first Sha-do exhibition and aims to introduce the collective to a wider audience. For more information on the Sha-do collective, please visit: http://www.shadocollective.com
