The world famous Bolshoi Opera will be presenting its production of "Evgeny Onegin" in June at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan. The Bolshoi Theater chorus and actors will grace the stage in authentic period settings and costumes performing to the majestic music of Peter I. Tschaikowsky provided by the theater orchestra under the direction of Mikhail Pletnev. This opera was first performed in 1879 and is a grand opera to see and hear. Though Tschaikowsky wrote some eleven operas, "Evgeny Onegin" and "The Queen of Spades" are the only ones, however, which have maintained their places in operatic repertoire.

The Special Projects Committee has tentatively booked 50 of the best (S) seats for members and their guests. These tickets usually cost \42,000, but the FCCJ price is just \30,000. This special price to the FCCJ is contingent upon selling 50 tickets otherwise the price will be \37,800.

チャイコフスキー＆プーシキンの傑作オペラをチェルニャコフが2006～7年のシーズンに発表し、いち早くパリ・オペラ座の開幕を飾り、絶賛を博しました。
特別企画委員会では、プレスクラブ会員のためにS席通常￥４２，０００のところ、５０名の場合￥３０，０００で仮押さえいたしました。５０名以下の場合￥３７，８００となります。
厳正先着順、売り切れ次第、受付終了させていただきます。
なお、4月29日（水）以降のキャンセルはフルチャージとなります。
