Description:

Fukui Prefecture bordering the Japan Sea is famous as the originator of the popular koshihikari rice and together with the famed Wakasa beef, grilled amadai, Fukui pork, sweet shrimp sashimi, Fukui soba, taro croquettes, grilled mackerel sushi and more you are in for a delicious gourmet journey enhanced with the finest sakes of Wakasa and Echizen.

A healing harp performance will greet you on arrival and throughout the evening various traditional crafts will be introduced as well as a live ink painting performance by the young native Fukui painter Mago.

Premier sightseeing destinations of Fukui----Tojimbo one of the three largest cliffs in the world, Eiheiji Zen Temple and Awara Hot Springs will be highlighted in displays along with many famed manufactured goods and models of Dinosaur fossils discovered in the area.
