Steve Gardner is the original Saturday Night Live performer, going back to even before we called it Saturday Night Live. Steve, who hails from southern Mississippi, is unquestionably Tokyo's most accomplished blues guitarist -- and without doubt the most popular FCCJ SNL performer. He mixes his own interpretation of blues numbers -- both well-known and obscure -- with an increasing repertoire of original tunes. Steve's fifth CD, WOOLY BULLY EXPRESS is finally out and likely to be for sale, if he hasn't sold out his stock. Sitting in with Steve will be Bill Benfield on mandolin and Hisa Nakase playing stand-up bass.
