July 27, Thursday 15:00-16:00 (Press Conference)
The speech and Q & A will be in Mandarin and Japanese with English interpretation.
During the Q&A session Japanese simultaneous interpretation will be provided for Japanese media.

Table tennis player Ai Fukuhara has been one of Japan's most beloved sports stars of the past two decades. Not only in Japan; she is idolized in China, and speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese. But now, she's at the center of a child custody battle with her ex-husband Chiang Hung chieh, a table tennis player from Taiwan.

Chiang alleges Fukuhara is refusing to let their oldest child return to Taiwan. The couple divorced two years ago and reportedly agreed to joint custody. Chiang says Fukuhara took their son back to Japan last year and has since cut off contact. He is now using legal means to try and get his son back. Chiang will come to the FCCJ with his Taiwanese and Japanese lawyers to explain his position and legal case.
