Please join the Election Committee for this year's Speak Out event - your chance to interact directly with the Regular, Associate and Professional Associate candidates standing for election as FCCJ Board members and officers for the 2025-2026 term. We encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about those seeking to lead the club!

All confirmed candidates who wish to discuss their views and platforms during this public forum with members should register at gmm2025@fccj.or.jp by noon Friday, June 13.
Non-candidates, please book your reservations at front@fccj.or.jp or by calling the front desk 03-3211-3161 no later than noon on Speak Out day, Friday, June 13.

For those at the club in person, drinks will be available. For those who wish to attend in person but cannot, we will provide a Zoom link. Please see details at the bottom of this email.

Timetable:
18:00 Candidates registered to speak are requested to assemble in the Speak Out room for briefing.
18:30-19:00 Refreshments
19:10-20:30 Each candidate speaks for three minutes.
(Total duration of the event will depend on the number of candidates registered to speak.)
20:30-21:00 Q & A

Please note the following changes under koeki status:

1. Six board positions are allocated to Regular Members. A further two positions will be assigned to the candidates who come in seventh and eighth in terms of votes. These two members will be designated as reserve directors to replace, in order of their vote count standing, any directors who     cannot complete their terms of office.

2. One kanji position is allocated to the Regular Member category. One member will be designated as a reserve kanji to replace, in order of their vote count standing, any elected kanji who cannot complete his/her term of office.

3. Three board positions are allocated to Associate and Professional Associate Members. A further single position will be assigned to the candidate who comes in fourth in terms of votes. One member will be designated as a reserve director to replace any Associate or Professional Associate director who cannot complete his/her term of office.

4. Directors from the ranks of the Regular Members will be appointed by the elected directors to the posts of President and 1st and 2nd Vice President.

Please book your reservations at front@fccj.or.jp or at the front desk 03-3211-3161 no later than noon on Speak Out day, Friday, June 13. Due to space restrictions, attendance will be limited to 40 people.
