PRESS CONFERENCE
Yoshihiko Noda, President of the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan

11:00-12:00 Monday, June 9, 2025
Language: The speech and Q & A will be in Japanese with English interpretation.

Yoshihiko Noda, President of the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan and former Prime Minister, will present the party's stance and strategy for the upcoming summer election for the House of Councillors, the upper chamber of parliament. This election is pivotal for addressing several critical issues, including the ongoing rice problem, economic challenges, national security, fiscal policy, and diplomacy. It also comes at a time when public trust in Japan's political system is increasingly wavering, as politicians struggle to offer effective solutions to social issues.
