*Musical performance: Cellist Rin Tsuburai will perform Bach and others

For the month of May, the FCCJ presents a rare exhibition of photos taken by Japan- based diplomats titled "Japan As Seen Through Diplomats'Eyes." The exhibit features selected photographs from the annual 'Japan- Ambassador's Eye' photo exhibition that has been open to diplomats and their families since 1998. On FCCJ walls, you will see the contributions of more than 50 diplomats from over 40 countries and regions, each offering a unique perspective on Japan.

5月の FCCJ 写真展は、駐日外交官がとらえた日本の姿を、写真芸術を通じて表現するというユニークな試み、「 にっぽん - 大使たちの視線」の作品より皆様にお披露目させていただきます。
この写真展は、高円宮妃殿下名誉総裁を中心に、中曽根弘文参議院議員ならびに駐日大使の協力を得て運営されるもので、事務局長の安部 忍氏はテーマの設定、写真の選定、各国大使への呼びかけなどに携わっています。
今回、FCCJでの展示を可能にして下さった、「にっぽん - 大使たちの視線」実行委員長で写真展ディレクターの安部氏に感謝いたします。
