Trio TRAM

In 2013, Marimba player Tomoko Kusakari formed the trio TRAM with Pianist Kumiko Tanemura and Saxophonist & Flute player Reiko Ishii. They became widely will known as a fun and stable ensemble. In 2015, they were invited to play a concert in Taiwan. In 2017, they welcomed the Kyokukou Women’s Chorus Group from Taiwan to perform at Kita ward’s Hokutopia and presided over a charity concert entitled “the bridge between Taiwan and Japan”.

Tomoko Kusakari a graduated of Kunitachi College of Music, first formed Tomoko Kusakari Percussion Ensemble and has recorded many TV, radio and made CDs. She has also hosted 14 charity concerts to support the Great East Japan Earthquake.

Pianist Kumiko Tanemura also graduated from Kunitachi College of Music. She has been active in chamber music and also musical stage shows like “I GOT MERMAN”, “Pacific Overtures” and Takarazuka 100th Anniversary “Chicago”.

Reiko Ishii a graduated of Kitasato University. She started playing Alto Saxophone in junior high school and flute in high school. Since 2006, she has been involved in brass instruction at Chuo-ku Elementary school. She has also performed in many stage productions.
