Born in Tokyo, Japan, he spent childhood in Bangkok, Thailand. He started playing electric guitar and then became interested in Classical guitar.
In 1997 he enrolled in the prestigious Berklee College of Music, U.S.A.
He also stayed in Granada, Spain to learn Flamenco guitar technique.
He has released five solo albums.
