Comado is back with its friends!
Hello everyone! We are Comado and have come back after a long time-away. We’ll play three performances on the Saturday Nite Live stage, so please be there and join us. Enjoy listening to Jobim’s Bossa Nova tunes with a couple of standard jazz numbers!
Comado started as a small hall band of flute players over 10 years ago. Currently it acts as an easy-listening music band in Tokyo, playing Bossa Nova numbers and standard jazz numbers. As they gained experience, they also picked up additional members and eventually caught the Bossa Nova bug. The group is now led by Sekky Yuko (flute and vocals), Takeo Suzuki (guitar) and a new member Tonninio Yoichiro Yamada (guitar), who covers a wide range of music from pop to jazz. Plus, Comado’s powerful friends Yoko (piano), Zamas (drums) and Ryohei (bass) will be playing with us this time!
Comado has an easy-listening vibe centered on Bossa Nova numbers and jazz standards. Fans of Latin music won't want to miss this chance to catch Comado.
And remember, it’s free. No cover charge. No music charge. You just can’t beat SNL for an exciting, entertaining night out in Tokyo.
