It's Saturday Nite Live!
Roger Sherrin and The Boso Boys
18:30 - 21:00, February 1, 2025

Free entry for FCCJ members, guests and non-members 1,000 yen.

Join us to celebrate in style National Texas Day, which honors the Lone Star State joining the American Union in 1845. Texas has contributed many famous musical artists from genres including country, rock, blues, Texas swing and pop, such as global superstars Beyonce and Willie Nelson.

Native Texan Roger Sherrin and longtime SNL favorites The Boso Boys, from Chiba, will present an exciting repertoire of authentic Texas music by artists such as Willie Nelson, ZZ Top, Buddy Holly, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Roy Orbison, Sam the Sham, Don Henly, Mike Nesmith, Lightnin Hopkins, Big Mama Thornton, and more, performed by:

  • Roger Sherrin (guitars & vocals)
  • Mori Shinjiro (guitars & vocals)
  • Masa Matsumoto (guitars & vocals)
  • Hiroshi Yasuda (bass)
  • Eisuke Irino (drums)
  • Special guest Poogie Yamaguchi (blues harp)

And remember SNL is free for FCCJ members! For guests & non-members, there is a 1,000 yen entry charge. An incredible bargain for Tokyo entertainment.

-------- Saturday Nite Live: Non Member Entry Charge from Feb. 1 --------

Dear Members,

From February 1, please note that Saturday Nite Live (SNL) remains free for members, however guests and other non members will incur a 1,000 yen (plus tax) entry charge. The entry charge will apply to all guests and non members who are in the SNL venue at the commencement of the first set (generally 6:30pm).

While SNL has been completely free for many years, remuneration for performers has also been minimal. The entry charge will assist the Entertainment Committee in sourcing a broader range of entertainment and on occasion, such as the March 15 St. Patrick’s Day SNL, the Main Bar venue will be expanded into the dining room to create additional seating.

Thank you for your continued support of SNL!
