Kaoru Kobayashi, Actor
14:00-15:00 Thursday, September 24, 2026
Language: The speech and Q & A will be in Japanese with English interpretation.
You have seen the Netflix series, Midnight Diner, now meet its Master, actor Kaori Kobayashi, who will explain what’s on the menu for the upcoming sixth season debuting shortly. It’s been seven years since the last episode, so please tune in for the latest on the live-action series that began as a manga.
His Shinjuku diner opens at midnight and remains open until daybreak, and the Master will make customers any dish as long as he has the ingredients. Our guest will join on a Thursday afternoon to share behind-the-scenes stories, favorite foods and episodes, and what fare to expect in season six. Make your reservations – there’s more than 12 seats at the FCCJ.
