An afternoon with AYURVEDA, the ancient art of medical healing boasting a 3000-year- old history in the Indian subcontinent. The term Ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit words ayur (life) and veda (science or knowledge). Thus, Ayurveda translates to knowledge of life.

As the popularity of Ayurveda grows globally, the FCCJ is hosting a delightful afternoon incorporating a lecture on the ancient science and Ceylon tea in liaison with the Sri Lankan Embassy in Tokyo. The event will provide a deeper understanding through a demonstration by experts, a variety of Ayurveda cuisine and herbal and Ceylon teas. Included in this unique afternoon is an array of gifts from the tropical island that boasts a reputation as an attractive Asian tourist destination.
