The Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan welcomes new members across all categories of membership. To reward current members for introducing their family, friends and colleagues, and to thank new members for joining, both parties will receive a club dining voucher as a small token of our appreciation.
Application forms and membership category information is available here, applications must be approved by the December, 2024 Board of Directors meeting to qualify for a voucher. The vouchers differ by category of the new member, as set forth below. Vouchers Awarded to Current Members
- 10,000-yen Voucher: Awarded to current members who introduce new Regular, Professional Associate, Associate, Diplomatic Associate and Five-Year Associate members, and new *Corporate memberships (*applicable to the initial new Corporate membership only.)
- 5,000-yen Voucher: Awarded to current members who introduce new Outside Kanto & Young members in the Regular, Professional Associate and Associate categories.
Vouchers Gifted to New Members
- 20,000-yen Voucher: Gifted to new members in the Regular, Professional Associate, Associate, Diplomatic Associate and Five-Year Associate categories.
- 10,000-yen Voucher: Gifted to new members in the Corporate Associate category and new Outside Kanto & Young members in the Regular, Professional Associate and Associate categories.
