The Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan (FCCJ) latest short video in collaboration with History Channel reaches back to early club history to feature U.S. Ambassador Edwin O. Reischauer. The Ambassador’s connection to Japan, and the FCCJ, was far deeper than his role as representative of the United States, however, not only was Ambassador Reischauer born in Tokyo, the Ambassador was introduced to his second wife by author James Michener at the FCCJ.
