Freedom of the Press Award Ceremony

At a time when journalists themselves have become the news, as they face increasing intimidation in many parts of the world, supporting the freedom of the press has become one of our most important activities.
A big part of that is our Freedom of the Press Awards. The Board has chosen this year’s award-winners for the Asia-Pacific and Japan from among candidates nominated by our members, and we would like to invite you to join us for an awards ceremony to celebrate the brave and determined journalists who cover taboo subjects and even risk their lives.
How to attend:
Please register at front@fccj.or.jp with your name and FCCJ membership number. Due to space restrictions, attendance will be limited to 20 people. Doors open 30 minutes before the event. Please sign in, giving your name and contact details at the reception, and have your temperature taken before proceeding.
