The Palestinian Perspective of the Situation in Gaza
Israel says the Hamas attack on its territory is the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust, while many observers say an explosive conflict resulting from the increasingly harsh conditions in the Gaza Strip and other areas that Palestinians call home was only a matter of time. That conflict is here and now and the slaughter has been horrific on both sides.
Waleed Siam, who has represented Palestine in Japan for 25 years, will come to the Club to explain the Palestinian side of this conflict and how events may move forward from here.
