SPECIAL MEETING OF THE FCCJ BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND REGULAR MEMBERS:

WEDNESDAY JANUARY 18TH FROM 6:30 P.M.

To All Regular Members:

As the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan enters its first full year free of the Covid pandemic, we would like to take the opportunity to gather members together to discuss the future of our club. We are calling a special meeting of the regular members and the board of directors on Jan. 18 at 6:30 pm.

We have seen a revival in activities at the club, including ground-breaking press conferences and banquet events. Yet the FCCJ faces major challenges in terms of membership levels, financial stability and in other areas during the coming year and beyond.

At this meeting, the Board of Directors (BoD) would like to update the Regular (Voting) members of the Club on these and other important issues. The Covid 19 pandemic has restricted Board-to-member and member-to-member contact over the past two three years and the Board would like to restore more regular dialogue with and receive feedback from Regular and other members (via a planned Town Hall meeting). Please do your best to attend.

Members planning to attend are kindly asked to inform the reception desk (03-3211-3161) so that the club staff can make appropriate preparations.
