US President Donald Trump and Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu cannot simply walk away from the economic and financial as well as political consequences of their attack on Iran. And Asia - not least Japan - will not escape the spreading fallout.
The economic impact could prove to be stronger and longer lasting than initially assumed as a new "oil shock" threatens Asia's energy imports, driving costs and prices higher while also risking supply interruptions. Rising inflation and interest rates will likely impact consumption and investment in the region, growth rates will falter and asset prices - stocks and bonds especially - will be hit. America's "war machine" could also suffer damage if capital flows from Asia into US government bonds are reduced.
Deep Dive has assembled a panel of experts to offer informed views on these critical threats. Do not miss this opportunity to get up to date on where Asia stands in the new Middle East crisis.
