FCCJ & History Channel Video #7: Kakuei Tanaka: Prime Minister of Japan

The next short video created in collaboration with History Channel features Kakuei Tanaka, who first appeared at the FCCJ in 1964 as the Minister of Finance. But more famously, or infamously depending on viewpoint, his second visit to the FCCJ in his capacity as Prime Minister was seen by many to be the catalyst to his resignation due to criticism over questionable financial dealings. You can find the video via the club website or YouTube channel (with English subtitles, Japanese subtitles) now, and on social media soon.

ヒストリーチャンネルとの共同で制作された次のショートビデオは、1964年に財務大臣として初めてFCCJに登壇いただいた田中角栄氏です。しかしより有名なのは、内閣総理大臣としての2度目のFCCJでの登壇が、疑わしい金銭取引への批判を呼び そしてその後の辞任の引き金となった事です。
