FCCJ's New Year Wine Tasting featuring American Wine

The American economy is doing well, and thanks to hot weather and warm soil California wine is doing even better. The Food and Beverage Committee, together with the Club's wine expert, have carefully selected 33 wines from California's best vineyards for your enjoyment.
Included in the selection are exemplary wines such as, the 2016 ultra dry Joseph Phelps Chardonnay of Freestone vineyard (7,000 yen), the powerful 2012 Michael Mondavi's Cabernet Sauvignon Emblem Oso vineyard (9,000 yen), the 2016 Oberon Napa Valley's Merlot (3,630 yen), or the magnificent Eden Rift 2016 Pinot Noir Reserve Estate (9,900 yen).
As always, there will be something for everyone's budget and taste such as, the Central Coast 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon from Tin Roof Cellars for an unbelievable 1,100 yen, to the elegant 2016 Pinot Noir of Eden Rift California for 9,900 yen.
As always, in addition to the fabulous wine selection, there will be a variety of outstanding cheeses to complement the wine tasting.
The complete selection and pricing will be available at front desk from January 15, 2020.
There will be two sessions per evening for both days. The first session starts at 5:30 and ends promptly at 6:50.
The second session starts at 7:10 and ends at 8:30.
Please note, both sessions are on a first come first served basis and limited to a maximum of 100 attendees per session.
The price per person is 2,100 yen which includes consumption tax.

FCCJ 新年のワイン試飲会: アメリカワイン

2020年のFCCJ新年のワイン試飲会は、ジェロボーム株式会社の協力によりアメリカ、カリフォルニアからトップクラスのワインを取り揃えて皆様をお待ちしております。
フリーストーン ヴィンヤード シャルドネ2016 (7,000 円)は、味わいはミネラルが豊かで柑橘、アプリコット、ハニーが感じられ酸によって力強さがあります。マイケル・モンダビ オソ・ヴィンヤード・カベルネ・ソーヴィニヨン2012 (9,000 円)は、モンダヴィ家の考えるナパ・ヴァレーの過去と未来を反映させたワインで、彼らの醸造技術と素晴らしい土地が育むブドウから生まれる圧倒的なクオリティーの1本です。オベロン ナパ・ヴァレー・メルロー 2016 (3,630 円)は、凝縮したブラックフルーツのアロマに続くブルーベリーとチョコレートのフレーバー、そしてしなやかなタンニンが味わえます。エデン・リフト ピノ・ノワール・リザーブ・エステート2016 (9,900 円)は、濃密なワインでエレガントであり繊 細なタンニンが感じられます。
ティン・ルーフ・セラーズ カベルネソービニョン2016 (1,100 円)は、まろやかなタンニンを持ち、キレのある酸味が全体の味わいを引き締め、芳醇で瑞々しい味わいでカベルネの特徴をしっかりと感じます。
全部で33アイテムの素晴らしいワインを取り揃えて、皆様をお待ちしております。
ワイン販売方法はクレジットカード (Master ＆VISAカード)でのお支払いのみとなります。
チーズとその他の食材に関しましては、当日の販売は現金のみの取り扱いとさせていただきます。
午後5時30分～6時50分、午後7時10分～8時30分までの2部制となりますので、ご予約の際にお時間をご指定ください。
