FCCJ GENERAL MEETING
7pm, Wednesday March 25, 2026
Dear FCCJ Regular Members:
I hope this message finds you well. This email is to formally notify you that a General Meeting of Regular Members (all members are invited) will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in accordance with Article 16 of the Articles of Association. The FCCJ requests your support for approval of the Club's Budget and Business Plan for the next fiscal year (FY2026), without which we cannot operate, and on the proposed correction to the Articles of Association, which regards the terms of Directors. Dinner will be served from 6:30pm and the meeting will begin at 7:00 pm (on Zoom also). Your participation and voting are essential, and the Board of Directors greatly appreciates your participation in club governance.
The agenda for the meeting will be:
1. Approval of the FY2026 Budget and Business Plan.
2. Approval to correct the English version of the Articles of Association to match the Japanese version so that the Director consecutive term length is a maximum of four consecutive terms.
3. Any other business.
It is critically important that at least one third of the Regular Membership participates in the voting process for the General Meeting to reach a quorum.
In accordance with the club's by-laws, approval of the Budget, Business Plan and correction of the Articles of Association requires a simple majority of all votes cast.
If you plan to attend the General Meeting in person, please do make a reservation at Reception (03-3211-3161, front@fccj.or.jp). Complimentary Dinner will be served for those in attendance between 6:30pm and 7pm.
